I asked a couple of times inside the Lloydspharmacy who to contact to request cycle parking outside the shop on Intake Avenue, York. On each occasion I was given a dismissve response. So I researched who the chain was owned by: Celsio.com ... [more]

Took two years but lots of emails and an international bike race later... ...three Sheffield-style racks. Close to the entrance. A whole metre between each. On level ground. Accessible from all angles. Safe from cars. Standard-setting.

After much nagging from a tireless campaigner, this York cycle shop finally has cycle parking! And it's quite stylish too.
