[Update see: #169877] [Image taken 1.6.21] Marygate car park, York. Half term. In the time it took me to measure the gap and chalk 66cm on both sides of it, two unconnected families arrived to use it. Neither could pass through easily, sociably or in protective formation: adults/adult-child holding hands. I found one looking baffled at the fencing blocking off the riverside (see: #169722). In fact, they wanted 'town'. There are no signs helping people navigate the car park or in getting away from it. Yet this must be one of the car parks most used by the people who are least likely to know their way around: tourists. See also: #169841 and links
